India’s first ever woman Olympic silver medal winner P.V. Sindhu has been appointed brand ambassador of Panasonic Energy, a manufacturer and supplier of dry cell batteries and lighting products. The company, in a statement on Monday, said Sindhu will endorse the company’s products for a period of five years, both in India as well as South East Asia markets. It declined to divulge financial details.
