Bumrah rested; Siraj, Kaul fly in for Australia, New Zealand series

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has rested pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah for the upcoming One-Day International series against Australia and the tour of New Zealand.
Keeping in mind the work load of the bowler, it was best felt to give him adequate rest ahead of the home series against Australia, BCCI has stated in a Press release.
Mohammed Siraj will replace Bumrah in the squad for the Australia and New Zealand series.  Siddarth Kaul has also been drafted into the squad for the 3-match T20I series against New Zealand.
Bumrah’s 157.1 overs to take 21 wickets in the four-match Test series Down Under are the highest bowled by a pacer from the either team. Mohammad Shami and Ishant Sharma have bowled 136.4 and 103 for 16 and 11 wickets respectively. Only Nathan Lyon (242.1 over/21 wickets) has bowled more overs than him.
