India’s Test team vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane has launched his own signature bat line named ‘Resolute’ along with CEAT. He announced the launch through his social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram.
Rahane took to twitter to announce the launch and tweeted about how excited he is on his own signature bat line. The tweet posted by the batsman is as follows:
Rahane is known by his nickname ‘Jinx’. This name actually came from Shane Warne when they were teammates at Rajasthan Royals. Now, all the team-mates call him ‘Jinx’ or ‘Ajju’. However, ‘Jinx’ would be the signature on the ‘Resolute’ bat line.
The twitter post which appears to be a branded content, showing CEAT logo on the bat alongwith the hashtag is due to the deal between the right hander and the company.
Last year, CEAT signed a 4-year bat endorsement association with Rahane. As per the deal, the batsman will be seen representing CEAT bat in all the versions of cricket going forward.
CEAT also has tie ups with Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina and Ishan Kishan for bat association.
