Eurosport and advertising platform Football Media have has agreed to a global digital partnership that could help brands reach “over 100 million monthly sports fans”.
The jointly owned digital portal will allow the Discovery group owned broadcaster, Eurosport and Football Media provide brands with the opportunity to reach over 100 million consumers per month globally, SportsPro Media has reported.
The brands will get a platform for reaching out to sports fans across the Pan-European network’s digital outlets as well as Football Media’s owned and operated websites. This will be an unparalleled opportunity for the brands to target sports fans through varied advertising including display, rich media, mobile, apps, video and bespoke sponsorships.
Dean Akinjobi, chief executive at Football Media, said: “We will provide brands with some of the most unique innovative opportunities to reach millions of global sports fans across highly targeted digital football and sports environments. With more and more fans consuming digital sports content across multiple channels than ever before, we will be providing the perfect opportunity for brands to harness this growth.”
