Tata Salt returns with #NamakKeWaastey

Tata Salt, the Desh ka Namak, has kept with its tradition of paying the #NamakKeWaastey tribute to Indian athletes.
The leading salt brand in the country has released a “salt art video” to pay tributes and call for support to the Indian athletes who are representing the country in the ongoing Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang. The art work, akin to sand art story narrations, also captures the essence of India’s Independence. It also celebrates the sporting heroes of India on the occasion of the 72nd Independence Day, August 15, 2018. Celebrating the success of sporting legends of the past, the narration calls for such a support for the Asian Games contingent “ki gunz uthen Jakarata kee sabhi galiyan aur rastey #NamakKeWaastey (support should echo in the streets and paths of Jakarta for the nation).
Tata on the Occasion of the 2016 Rio Olympics had released #NamakKeWaastey video campaigns with wrestler Babita Kumari and boxer Shiva Thapa.
Tata Group has been a benevolent supporter of India sports since the pre-Independence era. Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles Unit is also backing Indian wrestling as the Principal Partner of the Wrestling Federation of India.
Tata Chemicals head of marketing for consumer product business Sagar Boke says, “Tata Salt is widely christened as “Desh Ka Namak”. Reaching over 6 million households, Tata Salt has always been a harbinger of societal progress. Over the years, the brand Tata Salt has carved a very strong proposition for itself. Basis this proposition and the history of Tata Salt brand, the brand purpose of Tata Salt is simply stated as ‘unlock the individual potential to unlock nation’s performance.’ This purpose has been a driving force for all the activities we take up. Through this unique salt art, we urge the nation to come together and support the Indian Athletes participating in the upcoming Asian Games.”
