Asics sign up Indian pace spearheads Bhubaneswar, Bumrah as brand ambassadors

Bumrah as brand ambassadors

Jasprit Bumrah and Bhubaneswar Kumar will take their association beyond the cricket field. The two have inked a brand endorsement deal to strike as a pair.
Indian cricket team’s pace spearheads Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been signed by the Japanese multinational footwear, apparel and athleisure wear brand Asics. The Team India new ball pair will be serving as the brand ambassador for Ascics shoes in India.
Bumrah said, “Being an ASICS athlete gives me the pleasure of working with a brand that I have been a fan of since my early years. I want to make the most of our association where we inspire and motivate people to ‘move’ and be a part of the larger movement started by ASICS.”
Bhuvaneshwar said, “As an athlete and a fast bowler, shoes are very important part of our lives. ASICS is one brand that I completely trust and believe in, given the best in class technology that it offers.”
Bumrah has made a brilliant comeback to the Indian Test team after with a five-wicket haul in the Trent Bridge Test. He has been out of the T-20, ODI series and first two Tests with an injury.
Bhubaneswar, meanwhile, is still nursing an injury sustained on the England tour.
