ESFI announces India qualifiers for 10th Esports World Championship

India qualifiers for 10th Esports

Esports Federation of India (ESFI), the governing body for esports and competitive gaming in India, have announced the qualifiers to select Indian esports athletes for the upcoming 10th Esports World Championship.
ESFI has started the registration for the India qualifiers “National Esports Championship (NESC) – 2018” for the 10th Esports World Championship organized by International eSports Federation (IeSF) at Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei in the month of November this year.
Esports Athletes from all over India will play online and offline to compete in games titles like League of Legends, CSGO and Tekken7 and the winner(s) will be selected to represent India at the World Championship.
Tekken7 qualifiers are slated for August 19 at Creator’s Gurukul. CSGO and League of Legends Online Qualifiers are scheduled for August 16-19. The offline/online finals for CSGO/League of Legends will take place on August 23.
Last month ESFI announced the Indian squad for the esports main demonstration event at the Asian Games 2018. Ten Indian Esports athletes, who attained the qualifying mark in the recently held South Asian qualifiers will be a part of teams for Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), Arena of Valor, Clash Royale & Hearthstone.
According to the International Esports Federation (IESF), total 670 participants from 42 countries have registered for 1st Entry of the Esports World Championship Kaohsiung 2018, marking the largest participation in the history of the Esports World Championship.
The final entry will be opened until 31st of August, where National Federations will be submitting the final national delegation list to IESF Registration.
