Jamshedpur FC appoint César Ferrando as their new Head Coach

Jamshedpur FC has appointed César Ferrando as the new Head Coach of the Indian Super League (ISL) club.
ISL club Jamshedpur FC has announced the appointment of seasoned Spaniard César Ferrando as the new Head Coach of the club.
The experienced César has had a decorated career as a player and coach and has managed teams such as Atlético Madrid, Valencia B, Elche, Albacete (in Spanish LaLiga and Segunda Division). In his last assignment with Spanish Club, La Nucia he has had an extremely successful stint. He has also previously coached in Asia the Malaysian outfit Johur Darul Takzim FC in 2013-14.
As a player, César plied his trade as a midfielder and represented top Spanish clubs such as Valencia, Salamanca, Sabadell, Alzira (La Liga & Segunda Division Clubs), Jamshedpur FC has stated.
Jamshedpur Football Club Director, Mr. Sunil Bhaskaran was elated at the announcement and said, “We are delighted to welcome César Ferrando to Jamshedpur FC. We are extremely confident that he is the right person for the job and will work to deliver trophies for our fans and bring glory to Jamshedpur.
“Several things stood out during his interactions with us and the entire process; his vision, football knowledge, energy, determination and love of the game. He had thorough knowledge about our club, our players and the Indian Super League which was very impressive. He shares our vision to move forward, to build on the platform created by us and help this club enjoy greater success.”
Jamshedpur FC Chief Executive Officer Mr. Mukul Choudhari said, “César Ferrando has had an outstanding football management career and proved with performance of the field time and again. His sides have always played exciting football, impressing with their attacking approach and dynamism, and his coaching methods significantly improved the players. He is hardworking, passionate and his sense of values make him an ideal person to take us forward and fits in perfectly with the values of the club and the management.
“After a rigorous search involving extensive background references, data and video analysis and personal meetings with all the candidates, we unanimously chose Cesar to carve our path in creating football history.”
César also laid down his thought and plans. “Our main objective will be to give our best every day at every training session and make the team compete at the highest level every game we play. We will focus and prepare game by game as each game will be treated as a final with hard work, passion, sacrifice, effort, team work and humility. Success for me in this season will be play good football. We hope to implement a strong and unique football model to make the team more competitive in the league and make the supporters enjoy during the season,” said César.
