National Geographic’s Mega Icons to feature Virat Kohli’s life and journey

The life, journey, mega milestones and iconic achievements of Virat Kohli’s epochal journey will feature in the Mega Icons series on National Geographic channel.
National Geographic’s Mega Icons will highlight the life, journey and achievements of Virat Kohli with its trademark, powerful storytelling with cinematic recreations, intimate interviews with the icon and his associates, family, friends, and allies in this journey to stardom.
The show will also have acclaimed scientists and expert psychoanalysts explaining the neurological and psychological concepts at work behind these instances. The experts, featured in the show, will include pioneers in neurosurgery, development biology, brain behaviour research and cognitive science.
Mega Icons will also feature an episode on Indian film star-turned-politician Kamal Haasan. Kohli and Haasan will feature in the first two episodes of the Mega Icon series, which is scheduled to start in September this year.
Commenting on the announcement of the upcoming series, Shruti Takulia, Head – Productions, National Geographic & FOX Networks Group India said: “For Mega Icons, I could talk about the cinematic brilliance of the dramatic recreations we have shot. Or the intimate stories that come out through the interviews with India’s biggest icons and their closest ones.
“However, what is really important about the show, is the unique lens we have used to analyze the lives of these icons, using science to decipher if such inspirational personalities are born or made great. This unique format is what we believe will appeal to the National Geographic’s loyal viewer. A discerning viewer, who is fuelled by curiosity, and wants to deepen his understanding about the science and reason behind everything.”
Mega Icons, National Geographic’s latest initiative to profile the grand icons from different walks of life, will feature the milestone events and incidents in the life to decipher the success stories of India’s different inspiring personalities.
National Geography will announce the remaining icons and show host later this month.
