Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus has been an instant hit with the club fans. This is resulting in some major gains for the Serie A club as there is a mad rush for Ronaldo’s No. 7 jersey.
Juventus are selling an average of one Cristiano Ronaldo jersey every minute from their store in Milan.
According to TuttoJuve, there are huge queues outside the Juventus Store in Milan, especially as the online site crashed once the shirt first went on sale yesterday and has barely recovered.
It’s reported the Bianconeri are selling on average one Cristiano Ronaldo jersey every minute since the store opened at 10 am local time on Thursday.
There is also an unprecedented online demand for the CR7 jersey. Such is the volume of online buyers, that the Juventus’s online shop on Wednesday crashed due to massive traffic.
Juventus’s online shop went down on Wednesday just hours after the club had released its new line of jerseys with Ronaldo’s No 7 and name.
The 33-year-old striker will retain the number 7 at Juventus. Ronaldo’s teammate at Juventus, Juan Cuadrado has gifted the No.7 shirt to him after the club has signed the Portugal superstar in a €100 million move from Real Madrid.
Cuadrado himself decided to pass on the No. 7 to Ronaldo, laying all speculation to rest whether the star striker will be able to don his No. 7 at Juventus.
