UK-based private health insurance brand Vitality has announced a partnership with England cricketer Jos Buttler.
With the signing, Buttler will take the role of Vitality Ambassador and join his England team captain Joe Root and England women’s captain Heather Knight on the brand list of celebrities.
Buttler will be using his role as a national sporting icon and his passion for healthy living to inspire and motivate people to make positive changes to their health and wellbeing. He is currently featuring in Vitality’s latest T20 marketing campaign alongside a cross section of professional and amateur men’s and women’s cricketers.
Vitality partners with leading sports figures, teams and events to share its message around health, wellness and investments. The insurer has an extensive cricket portfolio: England cricket captains Joe Root and Heather Knight have been Vitality Ambassadors for cricket since 2016 and 2018 respectively, and the company recently announced an exciting title partnership of T20 cricket, including Vitality IT20s, the Vitality Blast and a range of key grassroots T20 tournaments.
Buttler, England batsman and wicket-keeper and the latest Vitality Ambassador, said: “I’m delighted to be joining Vitality as an Ambassador. I’m passionate about health and wellbeing and I’m looking forward to inspiring others to make positive lifestyle changes. Everyone should have the opportunity to live a healthier life so I’m very proud to work with Vitality alongside such an amazing group of sporting Ambassadors to help share this message.”
Neville Koopowitz, CEO of Vitality, said: “Jos is a superb addition to our growing number of outstanding Vitality Ambassadors. He is an incredible talent, with his recent performances for the England cricket team demonstrating he is a player at the top of his game, and is an inspiration to many. It’s fantastic to have him on board and we look forward to working with him and sharing our collective passion for healthy living.”
