Hardik Pandya’s unique birthday gift to MS Dhoni

Hardik Pandya’s unique birthday gift to MS Dhoni
Mahender Singh Dhoni celebrated his 37th birthday shortly after the second T20 international against England. It was celebration time for Team India. There were celebrations and wishes. Party time and gifts – some rare for one for the rarest cricketer.
If there were a competition for a unique gift on Dhoni’s birthday, Hardik Pandya is the hands-down winner. Others will not even come for a consideration. The young star Pandya has always been known for his wittiness, passion and certainly for his distinctive hairstyle. He has always brought something new to the party, only this time around he decided to take Mahi with him as well. The new frenzy around the hairstyle of the athletes was certainly upped by a notch when Hardik gave Dhoni a Haircut as his birthday gift.
The Dhoni fans know what daughter Ziva had to say about the ageing dad, with a grey beard with “salt and pepper” hair. Daughter Ziva felt Dad Dhoni is growing older.
So the looks matter. The man who once had carved a distinct identity worth a diplomatic comment for his hairstyle has aged to be a dad “getting old with his grey beard and greying hair.
Hair matter to keep an energetic athlete visually young. Pandya came up with that “unique gift” to give Dhoni a young look.
As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, the picture below of Pandya giving Dhoni a personal, rare, unthinkable and unbelievable gift says it all.
PANDYA GIVIGN HAIRCUT TO DHONI
The close defeat in the second T20 International at Sofia Gardens, Cardiff, did not affect the team spirit as it was big occasion to celebrate the birthday of their mentor. Skipper Virat Kohli with wife Anushka had joined the gang to wish Mahi.

Saturday was the time for the cake and celebrations and then came a perfect icing on the cake – the series win at Bristol on SundayEvening as the tourists toppled the home team in the high-scoring game for a 2-1 triumph. Mahi at 37 walked into the record books, becoming the first wicketkeeper to take five catches in a T20 international.
