English top-tier football club Manchester United has signed a multi-year global partnership deal with Kohler, a US-based premium kitchen and bathroom fittings manufacturer and lifestyle brand.
The company, headquartered in Kohler, Wisconsin, becomes the first-ever sleeve sponsor of the Premier League giants. The deal is reported to be worth $26.4 million (£20 mn) per season, which would make it the largest ever sleeve sponsorship deal for a Premier League club.
Under the agreement, Kohler’s brand logo will feature on the sleeve of the Manchester United men’s and women’s teams. The partnership also includes joint participation on game day activities, innovative improvements to club facilities, global sustainability and social responsibility projects and other partner collaborations with Manchester United fans and Kohler customers and associates, states the official release from ManU.
The club’s new 2018/19 home shirt, to be unveiled next week, will be worn for the first time on July 19 during in men’s opening fixture of Tour 2018 against Club America in Phoenix, Arizona.
