Sony Pictures Network has inked 13 broadcast sponsorship deals for India’s forthcoming tour of England.
Irrespective of the options of the grand sports spectacle FIFA World Cup or tennis world’s most prestigious tournament Wimbledon, cricket remains the first choice for India incorporation for brand promotion and marketing. Still more than one week for India’s tour of England to start, the official and exclusive broadcaster for the India-England series in India Sony Pictures Network has inked as many as 13 broadcast sponsorship deals.
One of India’s leading broadcast sponsors for cricket Kent RO, e-commerce major Flipkart, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Bajaj Auto, Chinese electronics and smartphone brand Xiaomi and McDonalds are among the 13 brands to have confirmed their presence during the India-England series broadcast over the next two months.
Maruti, after having driven out of the Indian Premier League, returns to cricket with the India-England series, which will also see two tyre brands MRF and Ceat. Maruti is one of the 13 broadcast sponsors.
India on the 80-day tour of England is scheduled to play three T20 Internationals, three one-day internationals and a five-Test series. The tour will follow India’s 2 T20 internationals in Ireland on July 27 and 29.
The Kohli & Co start their England tour with the T20 international at the Old Trafford, Manchester, on July 3.
Sony will be the hub of all the major sports action for Indians sports fans over the next few months. The ongoing FIFA World Cup is followed by India’s tour of England and then India in Australia comes as the next big attraction on Sony Sports cluster for the cricket crazy Indians.
