Cricket West Indies has selected a talented B team squad to participate in the Global T20 Canada tournament from June 28 to July 15.
With the senior West Indies team facing Sri Lanka in Test series, and the Windies A locking horns with England Lions and India A in a tri-nations limited overs tournament – Caribbean players on fringes of both these teams have gotten an opportunity to test themselves against high level West Indian and International players in Global T20 Canada.
Wicket-keeper batsman from Trinidad & Tobago, Nicholas Pooran is arguably the most high profile player in the squad having already played international cricket and experienced the Worldwide T20 circuit.
