The defending champions Germany are faced with the threat of elimination at the Group Stage in the FIFA World Cup finals. The reigning champions had lost 1-0 to Mexico in their opening match. The Germans have not lost two back-to-back matches in the same World Cup finals since 1958 – when they lost to Sweden in the semi-final and France in the third-place match.
The Swedes have beaten South Korea 1-0 in their World Cup 2018 opener. Now a win over Germany will put them in the round of 16, while also ensuring the defending champions elimination at the group stage. Incidentally, Sweden have won both their World Cup meetings against defending champions – defeating Italy in 1950 and Germany in 1958 against Germany.
However, Germans have been stronger in head to head record, winning 15 of their 32 meetings till date with 12 going in Sweden’s favour and nine ending in a draw.

BELGIUM vs TUNISIA
Belgium in their second Group G encounter of the FIFA World Cup finals start firm favourites against Tunisia. Belgium go into the match, first for the day scheduled at 5:30 pm India time, at the leaders following their 3-0 win over Panama. Tunisia, on the other hand, had lost their opener against England 1-2.
While in-form Belgium go into the match with the confidence of making the last 16 grade with a Group match to spare, Tunisia will be under pressure to avoid the threat of an early elimination.
SOUTH KOREA vs MEXICO
Mexico have an opportunity to book a spot in the knockout rounds of the World Cup 2018 as they meet South Korea in the second game of the day today (Saturday). Mexico go into the game with a 1-0 win over defending champions Germany in their Group G opener, while the Koreans have suffered a 0-1 loss in their first match against Sweden.
In their only World Cup meeting with South Korea, Mexico were the runaway 3-1 winners in 1998. The Central Americans have not lost any of their three World Cup meetings against Asian sides.
South Korea, winless in their last seven World Cup matches, have lost the last three on the trot while going scoreless in the previous two.
