Brazil and Paris Saint-Germain star footballer Neymar has inked an endorsement deal with Chinese smartphone brand OPPO on the eve of Fifa World Cup 2018 kick-off in Russia.
The 26-year-old was announced as an ‘OPPO Friend’. He will be seen promoting the company’s products during the month-long tournament in Russia.
OPPO has previously worked with Neymar through its partnership with Spanish soccer champions Barcelona. Neymar had left the La Liga Club Barcelona for French Ligue 1 side Paris St Germain last year in a record $262 million transfer deal.
The Brazilian iconic footballer had earlier signed a brand endorsement deal with electronics brand TCL, another Chinese firm, in February after partnering with mobile technology company Digible to launch a new app.
