Indonesian Open : Saina Nehwal loses tamely to Chinese opponent in the last 16

Saina Nehwal’s challenge has ended at Indonesian Open. Saina lost in the straight games to Chen Yu Fei of China by 21-18, 21-15 and failed to reach quarterfinals.  

Birthday girl PV Sindhu, brought smiles back to the Indian camp after she defeated Thailand’s Pornpawee Chochuwong 21-15 19-21 21-13. She continued her winning run on Thursday getting past Japan’s Aya Ohori with an easy win. The two shuttlers have faced four times before, all of which was won by the Indian. Sindhu won her fifth match against Ohori 21-17, 21-14 to reach the quarters.
