The international football governing body FIFA and US gaming company EA Sports (Electronic Arts) have announced the addition of new events to this season’s EA Sports Fifa 19 Global Series, which acts as the pathway to the 2019 FIFA eWorld Cup.
The tournament roster of this season will see the number of majors increase from two to six, as well as an all-new Licensed Qualifier System being added which is led by PlayStation, Professional Gamers League (PGL) and Gfinity, and involves an anticipated 20 official league partners such as the German Bundesliga, Dutch Eredivisie, Spanish LaLiga, French Ligue 1, North America’s MLS, and the English Premier League.
