Flipkart is sparing no efforts in promoting its #BigBillionDayAreBack – the festive season sale – between October 10 to 14. The Flipkart annual sales is faced with a direct competition from Amazon’s Great Indian Festival sale, to be on from October 10 to 15.
To drive home the advantage, Flipkart has roped in India’s leading brand icons from diverse fields for its social media campaigns. Olympic medallist badminton star is the latest addition to join the likes of Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Sourav Ganguly.
Saina in a #BigBillionDay promotional video message talks about how the Flipkart sales is the best opportunity to get a mobile phone of your choice at the lowest prices ever. “It’s not new to get mega discount on a mobile phone. But to get the mobile phone of your choice at the lowest price at the #BigBillionDays is something new indeed,” Saina can be heard saying in a recorded messaged posted on Flipkart’s social media accounts.

The e-commerce platform, in addition to mega film stars, has roped country’s top sports icons ranging from Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni to Sourav Ganguly to promote the big annual e-sale.
