Times Internet CRO Gulshan Verma joins Hotstar as SVP

Times Internet Chief Revenue Officer Gulshan Verma has resigned from his current position to join the Star India’s OTT platform Hotstar. Verma will be a senior vice president with Hotstar and the head, clients and agencies.
A London School of Economics alumnus, Verma leaves Times Internet after a three-year association with the company.
Gulshan Verma has earlier been associated with Outbrain as a general manager, India and South East Asia. He had also worked with Komli Media as chief revenue officer and Yahoo as director sales strategy.
In the past, Verma has worked with Ernst & Young, McKinsey & Co., International Management Group and Associated Press. Before joining Times Internet, Verma worked with Outbrain as general manager, India and South East Asia. Prior to that, he worked with Komli Media as chief revenue officer. He brings with him 27 years of experience, including the three-year stint as the first-ever CRO of the Times Internet.
Hotstar in April has also appointed Sid Taparia to head the company’s international business.
