Cricket in India is establishing an early lead to derive quick gains as the over the top (OTT) video content is showing a sharp surge in global consumption.
A PricewaterhouseCoopers report has predicted the OTT Video Revenue to Climb to $30.6 billion (₹2.50 lakh crores) in 2022. The OTT revenue, according to PWC, has grown at 15.2% in 2017. The global growth and focus on original content will ensure an annual 8.8% rise between 2018 and 2022, states the report.
