Italian football club AS Roma have announced a partnership with US-based video game company EA Sports (Electronic Arts) ahead of the much-awaited FIFA 19 to be released on 28 September 2018.
The two-year deal will see EA Sports become the ‘official football video game partner’ of the Serie A club.
The latest edition of FIFA game title is a part of the world’s most popular and iconic football video game series. FIFA 19 is already available for pre-order.
Under the terms of the agreement, EA Sports FIFA franchise will connect with AS Roma fans, both in Italy and around the world, through marketing and commercial collaboration and the creation of exclusive content for the companies’ respective communications channels.
EA Sports will also work with the club to further improve the experience offered to its gamers. AS Roma has been selected as one of the teams to take part in the FIFA 19 demo, along with other key clubs involved in this year’s Champions League.
The UEFA Champions League, which the club has qualified for again by finishing third in last season’s Serie A, will also be featured in FIFA 19 game after EA Sports acquired the rights which were previously with Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) game.
