Indian U-16 football team are all set to take on the Republic of South Korea in the quarterfinals of the ongoing AFC U-16 Championship Malaysia 2018. The match kicks-off at the Petaling Jaya Stadium from IST 6.15 pm.
A win against South Korea will not only book a last four spot for Indian Colts in the tournament but also fetch a ticket to the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Peru.
Indian supporters can catch all the live action of India vs South Korea tie of AFC U-16 Championship 2018 on Star Sports 2 and Star Sports 2 HD from IST 6 pm on today (Monday), October 1, 2018.
However, the live streaming on Star India-owned OTT platform Hotstar has not been confirmed yet.
Star Sports’ official handle @StarSportsIndia tweeted: “As part of our commitment to bring you the best of Indian Football, you’ll be glad to know that we have received telecast approval from AFC! The #AFCU16 QF match between India and the Korea Republic will be telecast LIVE on Star Sports 2/2HD on Oct 1 from 6PM onwards.”
India qualified for the quarter-finals by virtue of finishing second from Group C while Korea Republic, who scored 12 goals without conceding any, topped Group D.
