Kohli Number 1: Not just in Tests and ODIs rankings, see where else Virat is the No. 1

Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is the No. 1 batsman in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Tests and One-Day International rankings. However, Kohli’s ‘Virat’ list holding the top spot in the ‘Top of the Top’ tables goes far beyond being ICC’s official No. 1 batsman for Tests and One-Day Internationals. Rankings for Tests and ODI are not the only top achievements for Virat Kohli.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli has dethroned the Australian Steve Smith atop the International Cricket Council (ICC) Test batsmen’s rankings after his spectacular performance at the Edgbaston Test, the 5-match series opener in England.
Out of 436 runs that India managed to score in the two innings, Kohli’s contribution stands at 200 (149 and 51 in the two innings respectively) at an average of 100 runs. This catapulted Kohli to the No. 1 position in the ICC Test rankings – the first Indian batsman to achieve the peak after Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar topped the table in 2011.
The 29-year-old’s Test rating points rose to 934, leaving behind the dethroned Australian captain Steve Smith (929 points). Kohli has also become the country’s highest-ranked batsmen and 14th globally in the all-time ranking charts, surpassing another Indian batting legend Sunil Gavaskar at the 24th position.
The achievement adds another feather to Kohli’s glittering cap as well as the long No. 1 list he has achieved in the decade-long illustrious international career.
Here is the list of achievements Kohli heads as THE NO. 1 :

The deal also saw the cricketer launch his own apparel brand One8 in partnership with Puma.

Sachin Tendulkar and Mahender Singh Dhoni in the past had executed ₹ 100 crore agreements with their brand managers. However, none of those deals were with a single brand.
