Ola teams up with JSW Sports to launch #RoadtoGold campaign

Indian origin online transportation network company Ola has announced partnership with JSW Sports, a division of Indian conglomerate JSW group to launch #RoadtoGold campaign, a nationwide crowdfunding initiative to realise the dreams of winning gold medals at international sporting events.
The campaign aims to identify and support promising sporting talent from the entire country and provide a strong base for the budding sportpersons in India.
Ola users can become a part of this campaign by donating just ₹1 on every Ola ride. The company with its wide customer base in more than 110 countries, expects to collect considerable funds and then use them to identify promising talent and mould them into championsthrough state-of-the-art infrastructure, professional training from international coaches, complemented by extensive sports science facilities and a structured academic program.

The rising stars selected under the initiative will get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train under Indian sporting legends such as Sourav Ganguly, Mahesh Bhupathi, Abhinav Bindra and Yogeshwar Dutt, amongst others. The campaign has already gained supportive responses from big names in the industry like Akshay Kumar.
Akshay Kumar, and the entire cast of his upcoming movie ‘Gold’ – a story based on India’s first Olympics gold medal after the Independence – have heartily agreed to spread awareness of this considerate initiative.
