Audi extends Major League Soccer sponsorship in a multi-year deal

Audi extends Major League

German luxury car brand Audi has extended its partnership with the Major League Soccer (MLS), the top division of professional club football in the USA.
Under the terms the new agreement, Audi will remain the League’s Official Automotive Partner and the title sponsor of the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs. The precise length of the extended deal was not revealed.
Audi will continue utilizing next-generation technology to provide near real-time statistical analysis for all MLS matches through the Audi Player Index. Tracking every on-ball action, the Audi Player Index, also featured on the MLS app, provides soccer enthusiasts data and insights to illuminate discussion on the sport they love.
The announcement of the extension was revealed on Tuesday as part of the series of events surrounding MLS All-Star Week in Atlanta.

Audi’s continued commitment to growth of the sport in US includes the recent opening of Audi Field as the new home for D.C. United, along with ten partnerships with MLS clubs. Audi’s partnership with MLS is part of a global soccer footprint which includes some of the most legendary clubs in Europe.
